This year, F.S.C.A.R. will support the Florida Veterans Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Florida Veterans Foundation serves as the statewide lead organization for Florida veterans and their families by providing direct services and partnering with state and local governments, veteran service organizations, and educational institutions to improve their physical, financial, mental, emotional, and social well-being. The Florida Veterans Foundation was founded in 2008 by the Florida Legislature and is supported by individual and corporate donations, grants, fundraisers and direct public support to help us faithfully execute our mission of providing emergency and support services and programs for Veterans and their families across the state of Florida.
Florida's State President's program theme for 2021-2022 is "Helping Homeless Heroes". This year’s goal is to raise $5,000 to fund programs and support for Florida's homeless veterans. A second goal is to help locally by donating essential items that local communities need for the homeless veterans. Pins and challenge coins will be made available at a donation to help us make our goal!
Now, join along with F.S.C.A.R. in “Helping Homeless Heroes” and N.S.C.A.R. in "Keeping Everyone On The Move"in 2021-2022. To learn more about Florida Veterans Foundation please visit https://helpflvets.org/about/

This year N.S.C.A.R. will be partnering with the OSCAR MIKE Foundation.
The Oscar Mike Foundation is a veteran owned 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that hosts adaptive sporting clinics for veterans with physical disabilities. At these clinics, veterans will do everything from wheelchair rugby to skydiving and so much more. The purpose is to show these veterans that their disabilities do not limit them and that they can stay OSCAR MIKE(on the move).
N.S.C.A.R. will be supporting the OSCAR MIKE Foundation in two ways.
1. N.S.C.A.R. will be raising funds to sponsor the first ever OSCAR MIKE kids’ program where “11 Strong” Kids with physical disabilities will come together and participate in a week long clinic filled with adaptive sporting events and leadership workshops.
2. N.S.C.A.R. will also be helping OSCAR MIKE promote awareness of the current rate of veteran suicide problem in America, and their goal of cutting it in half from 22 a day to 11 a day.
This is where the project nickname of “11Strong” comes from. One name - Two missions.
Through this year's National Theme, members are encouraged to get active and stay “On the Move” whether that be in their local societies, community, or by being physically active.
